【摘要】:Thistestmethodmeasuresthenetchangeinpressureresultingfromconsumptionofoxygenbyoxidationandgaininpressureduetoformationofvolatileoxidationby-products.Thistestmethodmaybeusedforqualitycontroltoindicatebatch-to-batchuniformity.Itpredictsneitherthestabilityofgreasesunderdynamicserviceconditions,northestabilityofgreasesstoredincontainersforlongperiods,northestabilityoffilmsofgreasesonbearingsandmotor-parts.Itshouldnotbeusedtoestimatetherelativeoxidationresistanceofdifferentgreasetypes.1.1Thistestmethoddeterminesresistanceoflubricatinggreasestooxidationwhenstoredstaticallyinanoxygenatmosphereinasealedsystematanelevatedtemperatureunderconditionsoftest.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.ForspecifichazardstatementsseeSections6and7.
