【摘要】:Crudepetroleumcontainssulfurcompounds,mostofwhichareremovedduringrefining.However,ofthesulfurcompoundsremaininginthepetroleumproduct,somecanhaveacorrodingactiononvariousmetalsandthiscorrosivityisnotnecessarilyrelateddirectlytothetotalsulfurcontent.Theeffectcanvaryaccordingtothechemicaltypesofsulfurcompoundspresent.Thecopperstripcorrosiontestisdesignedtoassesstherelativedegreeofcorrosivityofapetroleumproduct.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthecorrosivenesstocopperofaviationgasoline,aviationturbinefuel,automotivegasoline,cleaners(Stoddard)solvent,kerosine,dieselfuel,distillatefueloil,lubricatingoil,andnaturalgasolineorotherhydrocarbonshavingavaporpressurenogreaterthan124kPa(18psi)at37.8176;C.(Warning8212;Someproducts,particularlynaturalgasoline,mayhaveamuchhighervaporpressurethanwouldnormallybecharacteristicofautomotiveoraviationgasolines.Forthisreason,exerciseextremecautiontoensurethatthepressurevesselusedinthistestmethodandcontainingnaturalgasolineorotherproductsofhighvaporpressureisnotplacedinthe100176;C(212176;F)bath.Sampleshavingvaporpressuresinexcessof124kPa(18psi)maydevelopsufficientpressuresat100176;Ctorupturethepressurevessel.Foranysamplehavingavaporpressureabove124kPa(18psi),useTestMethodD1838.)1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatoryrequirementspriortouse.Forspecificwarningstatements,see1.1,6.1,andAnnexA2.
