【摘要】:PVCcompoundsareusedinawidevarietyofproductsandhencetheyareformulatedtoprovideawiderangeofphysicalproperties.Thephysicalpropertiesrequiredinacompounddependupontheproductinwhichitisused.Thesepropertiesarelargelydeterminedbythetype,quantity,andqualityofthecompoundingingredients.Theanalyticaltestmethoddescribedbelowmakesuseofinfraredspectrophotometryforthequalitativeorquantitativedetermination,orboth,ofmanyoftheseingredientsinPVCcompounds.Thistestmethodmaybeusedforavarietyofapplicationsincludingprocesscontrol,rawmaterialacceptance,productevaluation,anddeterminationofchangesincompositionresultingfromenvironmentaltesting.Thistestmethodisdirectlyapplicableonlytothosecomponentslistedintheappendixandtothosecomponentswhichareknowntobesimilarinchemicalcompositionandinsolubilitycharacteristicstothechemicalslistedintheappendix.1.1Thistestmethodprovidesfortheidentificationofcertainresins,plasticizers,stabilizers,andfillersinpoly(vinylchloride)(PVC)compoundsbyaninfraredspectrophotometrictechnique.Inmanycases,individualcomponentsmaybemeasuredquantitatively.Complementaryprocedures,suchaschromatographicandotherseparations,willbenecessarytoseparatespecificcomponentsandextendtheapplicationsofthistestmethod.Otherinstrumentaltestmethods,suchasopticalemissionorX-rayspectroscopicmethods,mayyieldcomplementaryinformationwhichmayallowmorecompleteor,insomecases,easiermeasurementofthecomponents.Theresincomponentscoveredinthistestmethodarelistedintheappendix.1.2PVCformulationsaretoovariedtobecoveredadequatelybyasingletestmethod.Usingthefollowingtestmethod,manycompoundsmaybeseparatedintoresins,plasticizers,stabilizers,andfillers.Anumberofcomponentscanbequantitativelymeasured.Manymorecanbeidentifiedandtheirconcentrationsestimated.Bytheuseofpreparedstandards,onemaydeterminetheusefulnessandaccuracyofthetestmethodforspecificPVCformulations.Thistestmethodisapplicablefortheresincomponentslistedintheappendixandforothercomponentshavingsimilarchemicalcompositionsandsolubilitycharacteristics.Thistestmethodcanleadtoerrorincaseswherethenatureofthecomponentsisnotknown.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesinbracketsaregivenforinformationonly.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note18212;ThereisnoknownISOequivalenttothisstandard.
