【摘要】:Theobjectofthisstandardistoprovidebasicperformancerequirementsandverificationtestmethodsforportableinstrumentsusedinnormalenvironmentalconditionsforradiationprotectionofpersonnel.Asusedinthisstandard,healthphysicsinstrumentationprovidesdirectreadoutof,orreadoutrelatedto,doseanddose-equivalentrate,oractivity-per-unitarea(i.e.,effectiveprobearea).Includedareportablerateandintegratingdevicesforbeta,photon,andneutronradiationandmonitorsforsurfacecontamination(alpha,beta,andphoton).Instrumentsusedtomeasurethepresenceoflow-energybetaemitters(i.e.,lessthan200keVmaximumenergy)arenotaddressedinthisstandard.Personneldosimeters;instrumentsdesignedtobeusedasindividualorpersonalmonitors,orwarningdevices;environmentalmonitoringinstruments;andairmonitorsareoutsidethescopeofthisstandard.Specialpurposeinstrumentation,suchasemergencypost-accidentradiologicalmonitors,mayalsofallunderthescopeofoneormorerelatedANSIstandards.Thisstandardisintendedtosupplementratherthanreplacethese.Thisstandardestablishestheminimumperformancecriteriaforhealthphysicsinstrumentationforuseinionizingradiationfields.Testingmethodsareincludedtoestablishtheacceptabilityofeachtypeofinstrumentation.Thisstandarddoesnotspecifywhichinstrumentsorsystemsarerequired,nordoesitconsiderthenumberofspecificapplicationsofsuchinstruments
