【摘要】:Thistestmethodisdesignedtoprovidedataforthecontrolandspecificationofmaterialsandforcharacterizationpurposesinresearchanddevelopmentofnewmaterials.Tensilepropertiesmayvarywiththesizeofspecimensandthespeedoftesting.Consequently,thesefactorsalongwithothersnotedhereinmustbecontrolledwhereprecisecomparativeresultsaredesired.1.1Thesetestmethodscovertheproceduresfortestingrigidroundrodsusedinelectricalinsulation.Theseroundrodsincludemanytypesmadefromfibroussheetsofbasicmaterials,suchascellulose,glass,ornylonintheformofpaper,wovenfabrics,ormats,bondedtogetherbynaturalorsyntheticresins,orbyadhesives.Suchroundrodsincludevulcanizedfiberandthermosettinglaminatesaswellasroundrodsmadefromcast,molded,orextrudednaturalorsyntheticresins,withorwithoutfillersorreinforcingmaterials.1.2Theproceduresappearinthefollowingsections:1.3Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Foraspecificwarningstatementsee36.2.
